Thanks to Ley’s persistent planning (yay! to Ley) – with little help from us of course – our plan for NRT will finally be pushed through. We will start out early tomorrow instead of today after work, as originally planned. This is one of the concessions we made to our tight budgets haha. Anyhow, despite the arguments (there were some and more, and for a while it looked like we would have to scrape the plan and move it to another year or two), despite the changes to the dates (they were moved at least thrice, me thinks), and despite the people backing out on us (thereby making us recompute again and again our total expenses), we’ll finally be making our NRT.
Hopefully, we can still recapture the fun we had during our SRT way back in 2008. Some of us may have already been to some of the places that we plan on seeing, but it’s the people you’ll be with that’ll make the trip more exciting, no?
So, guys, let’s enjoy our weekend, all right? Who cares if we’d be eating nothing but instant noodles and crackers during our NRT? We can still enjoy the beach and the road and the laughter (and arguments?) in between. Let’s charge everything down to experience, m’kay?
